The honest cost answer
An iGaming influencer campaign costs the sum of creator compensation, usage rights, exclusivity, production, campaign operations, compliance and measurement. Platform, audience, territory, schedule and deal structure can change every part of that sum, so a universal “price per follower” is not a reliable budget.
Octo Media engagements typically start around $10,000, negotiable, with scope agreed in the proposal. This is a real service starting point, not a market-wide creator-rate benchmark and not a promise that a particular set of deliverables fits that amount.
Seven budget buckets
- Creator compensation: fixed fees, performance payments, minimum guarantees and agreed bonuses.
- Usage rights: permission to reuse clips, run paid media, edit work or publish in named territories and channels.
- Exclusivity: the category, competitors and blackout period the creator must avoid.
- Production: concepts, overlays, localisation, edits, landing pages and creative versions.
- Operations: discovery, vetting, negotiation, approvals, scheduling and live monitoring.
- Compliance: market checks, claim and disclosure review, age controls and retained evidence.
- Measurement: links, codes, event validation, reporting, reconciliation and analysis.

A hypothetical allocation
Suppose a team approves a hypothetical $30,000 planning ceiling. It could reserve $16,000 for creator fees, $3,000 for usage and exclusivity, $3,000 for production, $4,000 for operations, $2,000 for compliance and $2,000 for tracking and analysis. Those numbers are an arithmetic example only. They are not Octo pricing, typical market shares, or a forecast of results.
The useful decision is whether each bucket earns its place. If the brand wants to reuse content in paid social for six months, rights should be explicit. If the operator already has validated links and backend reporting, measurement work may be narrower. If five markets need separate approvals and copy, operations and compliance expand.
Make creator quotes comparable
Give every creator the same quote request: platform and format, live duration or asset count, publication window, target and excluded markets, approved destination, rights, exclusivity, disclosure requirements, revision rounds, cancellation terms and reporting evidence. Separate guaranteed cash from CPA or revenue-share components.
For a Twitch-only quote, see the Twitch casino streamer cost guide. For contract economics, compare fixed fee, CPA and revenue share. Do not compare a one-off post with a live integration plus clip rights as though they were the same unit.
Control cost before the campaign starts
- Set a total approved ceiling and an owner for contingency.
- Define acceptance criteria for every deliverable and evidence item.
- Record who pays platform, transfer, production and currency-conversion fees.
- Specify reschedule, cancellation, takedown and make-good rules.
- Model break-even using your own validated margin and player-value assumptions.
- Reconcile committed and actual costs before calculating CPA, ROAS or ROI.
